The Puzzle’s Solved for Vanna White

Vanna White, the beloved co-host of the game show “Wheel of Fortune,” has signed a contract extension to remain on the show for two more seasons. This means that she will continue to turn letters and solve puzzles alongside Pat Sajak until at least 2025.

White has been with “Wheel of Fortune” since 1982, and she is one of the most recognizable faces on television. She is also one of the highest-paid women in television, earning a reported $10 million per year.

White’s contract extension is good news for fans of “Wheel of Fortune.” She is a popular and iconic part of the show, and her presence on the show helps to make it one of the most popular game shows on television.

White’s contract extension is also good news for White herself. She has said that she loves her job on “Wheel of Fortune,” and she is excited to continue to be a part of the show.

The longtime game show host’s contract extension will bring a sense of normalcy to the series as it says goodbye to Pat Sajak, who has co-hosted “Wheel of Fortune” since 1981. Ryan Seacrest will replace Sajak as the show’s co-host in fall 2024.

Sajak announced his impending departure from the series back in June with a post shared on the platform X, known then as Twitter.

“Well, the time has come. I’ve decided that our 41st season, which begins in September, will be my last,” he wrote in his post. “It’s been a wonderful ride, and I’ll have more to say in the coming months. Many thanks to you all. (If nothing else, it’ll keep the clickbait sites busy!)”

Soon after, “Wheel of Fortune” revealed that it had tapped Seacrest as its new host and that he would also serve as a consulting producer for the show.

“It’s official! Starting in 2024 @RyanSeacrest will take the stage as the new host of Wheel of Fortune. We’re so excited — Welcome Ryan!” the show’s official account announced on social media later the same month.
