Riley Keough is Lisa Marie Presley’s daughter. She has recently spoken about the loss of her mother a week after Elvis Presley’s only daughter’s untimely death at the age of 54.
The 33-year-old actress shared a black-and-white photo Friday on her Instagram account. It showed Riley as a young girl holding a huge bouquet of daisies while she looked up lovingly at her mother.
Keough did not say much in her post, she did use the heart emoji in the caption.
But the picture drew loads of comments and many celebrities shared their thoughts and kindness to Riley in this time of grief. Some who commented were Kim Kardashian, Sara Sampaio, Taylor Lautner, and many more.
Jenna Dewan wrote this comment, “Sending you so much love,” followed by some heart emojis.
Nicole Richie simply wrote, “I love you.”
Rosie Huntington-Whiteley wrote, “Been thinking of you so much” with a heart emoji.
Just twelve hours after Lisa Marie was rushed to the hospital on January 12, her mother, Priscilla Presley, confirmed her death.
“My beautiful daughter Lisa Marie has left us,” a statement from her mother read. “She was the most passionate strong and loving woman I have ever known. We ask for privacy as we try to deal with this profound loss. Thank you for the love and prayers. At this time there will be no further comment.”
There is a public memorial service planned for her on January 22 at 9:00 am on the front lawn of Graceland.
Lisa Marie will be buried at Graceland next to her late son, Benjamin Keough, who died by suicide in 2020 at the age of 27.
Elvis Presley is also buried at Graceland, alongside his parents and grandmother.
The property will be passed to Lisa Marie’s surviving children from four marriages.
