Kylie Jenner has opened up about her regrets over plastic surgery, saying that she would be “heartbroken” if her daughter, Stormi, wanted to get the same procedures done.
The 25-year-old beauty brand founder was speaking with her friend Stassie Karanikolaou when she brought up getting cosmetic surgery when she was younger. She said that she got her first nose job when she was 19 years old, and that she has also had lip fillers and other procedures done.
“I wish I never got them done to begin with,” Jenner said of getting breast augmentation before giving birth to her two kids, per People. “[I] recommend anyone thinking about it to wait after children.”
Jenner also says she’d be “heartbroken” if her daughter Stormi, 5, decided to get cosmetic surgery in her teenage years as she did.
Plastic surgery has come up a lot for Jenner and her sisters. On the last episode of the reality show, Jenner denied rumors that she had surgeries to alter the look of her “whole face.”
“I always remember being the most confident kid in the room,” Jenner said on that episode. “I always loved myself — I still love myself — and one of the biggest misconceptions about me is that I was this insecure child and I got so much surgery to change my whole face, which is false, I’ve only gotten fillers.”
“I feel like I don’t want that to be a part of my story,” the mom of two added.
“I just feel like we have huge influence and like what are we doing with that power?” Jenner said. “I just see so many young girls on the internet now fully editing [their pictures]. Like, the editing!”
“I went through that stage too. I feel like I’m in a better place. But other people can instill insecurities in you,” she said.
