“Hackney may be at the heart of Hackney Diamonds, but this is a truly global moment we want to share with fans around the world via YouTube,” the Rolling Stones shared in a statement.

The album was recorded in London and features the band’s classic lineup of Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, Ronnie Wood, and Steve Jordan. It also features guest appearances from Lady Gaga, Paul McCartney, and Stevie Wonder.

“Hackney Diamonds” is a collection of 12 new songs that reflect the band’s ongoing creative energy and vitality. The songs range from blues-rock to soul to reggae, and they showcase the Stones’ ability to still write and perform great music after all these years.
