Actress Nicole Kidman is on her way to the coveted EGOT (Emmy, Grammy, Oscar, and Tony awards). The star of many films including “Being the Ricardos,” showed off her singing skills on Instagram with a clip from her new duet with Welsh actor and singer Luke Evans.
The two performed a beautiful cover of “Say Something” from Evans’ upcoming album, “A Song For You,” which will be released on Nov. 4.
“The song is so moving and beautiful to sing,” Evans wrote on Instagram, where he shared the same video clip.
“It was an absolute joy to finally hear Nicole’s, and my voice, together on this incredibly emotive track. Thank you again, Nicole, for saying yes to recording with me…!”
The take on this much-loved song by these two actors struck a chord with many friends and fans of Kidman’s.
“This is so beautiful nice!!” Kidman’s close friend, actor Naomi Watts, commented on Kidman’s Instagram page.
“West Side Story” star Ariana DeBose also commented with multiple raising hand emojis and the message, “Sing beauty!”
Fans also couldn’t get enough of Kidman’s latest venture through her beautiful voice.
“it’s time for nicole kidman to get her grammy!!” one fan wrote.
“Oh she’s coming for that EGOT,” another person said.
Nicole Kidman is halfway there with one Oscar and two Emmys. She also has six Golden Glove awards.
In December 2020, she joined her husband, country icon Keith Urban, for a holiday duet during the pandemic lockdowns.
She also performed a duet with Urban in 2019 of Elton John’s “Your Song.”
Kidman also showed off her singing ability in 2001’s “Moulin Rouge!” She had two unforgettable duets with Ewan McGregor, performing now-classic songs including “Come What May” and “One Day I’ll Fly Away.”
It might not be long before she can boast about having the EGOT!
