Michael J. Fox Joined By Twin Girls on Red Carpet

Michael J. Fox was honored with a lifetime achievement award at the Museum of the Moving Image on Tuesday night, and he was joined by his twin daughters, Aquinnah and Schuyler, on the red carpet.

“We are honored to present the MoMI Lifetime Achievement Award to the legendary Michael J. Fox, a great artist and inspiring human being, at our Spring 2023 Moving Image Awards benefit event,” MoMI’s Co-Chairmen Ivan Lustig and Michael Barker said in a statement last month.

“His many contributions in film and television for over four decades have been memorable and meaningful and exemplary for so many who come through our Museum’s doors,” they added.

Fox, 61, is best known for his roles in the Back to the Future trilogy and the sitcom Family Ties. He has been diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease since 1991, but he has continued to work and raise awareness about the disease.

In his acceptance speech, Fox thanked his family, friends, and colleagues for their support. He also spoke about the importance of fighting for a cure for Parkinson’s disease.

“I’m not giving up,” Fox said. “I’m not going away. And I’m not going to stop fighting for a cure.”

Fox’s twin daughters, Aquinnah and Schuyler, were 18 years old when he was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease. They have been a source of strength and support for their father throughout his journey.

On the red carpet, Aquinnah and Schuyler told reporters that they were proud of their father and that they were inspired by his fight against Parkinson’s disease.

“He’s an inspiration to us,” Aquinnah said. “He’s always been so positive and so strong.”

“He’s taught us that no matter what happens, you can always keep fighting,” Schuyler said.

Fox and Pollan, who married in 1988 after they met while working together on “Family Ties,” are also parents of son Sam, 34, and daughter Esme, 21.

Michael J. Fox is a true inspiration. He has faced many challenges in his life, but he has never given up. He is a role model for people everywhere, and he is a testament to the power of the human spirit.
