Maxine Waters Comments On Trump Admins Policy Surrounding Musk

Following President Donald Trump’s Joint Address to Congress, the Democratic Party’s reaction has been nothing short of unhinged. Instead of facing the reality that Trump’s policies remain popular and his speech was well-received, they chose to throw public tantrums, with some lawmakers walking out and others causing outright disruptions. But among the most bizarre responses came from Rep. Maxine Waters (D-CA), who took things to an entirely new level of delusion.

Waters, now 84 years old and still somehow serving in Congress, recorded a video rant that was as incoherent as it was baseless. In it, she suggested—without a shred of evidence—that Elon Musk had played some secret role in rigging the 2024 election.

“And we don’t know everything that Elon Musk has done with his high technology ass,” Waters claimed.

“We don’t know what he’s been accused of by some as it may relate to the election. But we’re not going to give up in investigating…”

That’s right. The same Democrats who have spent years insisting that questioning election integrity is dangerous and “unpatriotic” are now embracing their own wild conspiracy theories—this time targeting one of the world’s most prominent tech leaders. It’s the height of hypocrisy. And for Waters, it marks yet another descent into the absurd.

If that weren’t enough, Waters then took issue with Trump’s recognition of American families who have suffered tragic losses—particularly those affected by illegal immigrant crime. Instead of acknowledging the pain these families have endured, she accused Trump of “misusing” them for political gain.

“What he did was he focused on them instead of folking [sic] on the real issues,” she said.

Think about that for a moment. Waters dismissed the suffering of actual American families as if their tragedies weren’t “real” issues. Does she not understand that illegal immigration—an issue Trump has aggressively tackled—has had devastating consequences for countless Americans?

Trump took time to honor Jocelyn Nungaray, a 12-year-old girl who was raped and murdered by illegal immigrants in Texas. Not only did Waters fail to acknowledge Jocelyn’s name, but she showed no empathy for her grieving family. Instead, she seemed more upset that Trump’s speech resonated with Americans who understand that border security is a matter of life and death.

Waters’ rant is just a reflection of the broader problem within the Democratic Party. At Trump’s address, Democrats couldn’t even bring themselves to stand for the mothers who had lost children to violent crime committed by illegal immigrants. They sat there, stone-faced, as Trump paid tribute to these grieving families.

And yet, they wonder why they keep losing elections.

Waters’ claim that Trump was somehow exploiting these families is not only insulting—it strips them of their agency. These families chose to be there. They wanted to tell their stories. To suggest they were manipulated is deeply disrespectful.
