There are hundreds of stories circulating about players getting ready for the next Super Bowl, but this one could really grab your heart.
Philadelphia Eagles superstar center, Jason Kelce, isn’t taking any chances with his very pregnant wife, Kylie McDevitt. He is making sure her OBGYN is at the game in Arizona with her.
Kelce has already gotten a huge spotlight because he will be playing against his brother, Travis, who is a star tight end with the Kansas City Chiefs. They will be the first brothers to compete against each other for a ring.
Jason’s wife certainly did not want to miss this game, even though she will be two weeks shy of 40 weeks pregnant.
So Kylie’s doctor will be right by her side throughout the whole game.
The Eagles player revealed the news on the podcast he co-hosts with his brother, “New Heights with Jason and Travis Kelce.”
He said, “Kylie’s bringing her OB because she’s going to be 38 weeks pregnant at the game.” Kelce joked, “That could be a super Kelce bowl. If she has a baby in the stadium, it’s officially scripted.” How did he respond to such a random revelation? “We’re in the Matrix,” Travis replied.
The couple already has two children together and they are somewhat worried about the speed with which this third child may come. They don’t want to take any chances.
Dr. Robin Elise Weiss wrote an article for “VeryWell Family” that explained how subsequent births are quicker on average and that its thought that the body remains looser after childbirth.
This has created an anticipation of the possibility that a baby can come even while the family is in Arizona.
So needless to say, this whole family is ready for some massive celebration in this history-making moment.
