Blake Shelton wrote a gushy birthday post for his wife, Gwen Stefani, on Instagram, and Carson Daly’s reaction was hilarious.
To celebrate the singer’s 54th birthday on Oct. 3, the country crooner shared a black-and-white photo of the two lovingly looking at each other.
“Happy Birthday to my favorite all time person ever born in any time period in the history of mankind!!!!! I love you @gwenstefani!!!!!!!!!!” Shelton captioned the sweet Instagram post.
Daly commented on the post with a simple message: “Get a room.” He also added a green vomiting face emoji.
Shelton’s fans found Daly’s reaction hilarious, and many of them commented on the post to agree.
Many people replied to Carson with laughing-crying emoji, while one person wrote, “I was gonna say ‘how rude’ before I saw who commented. lol.”
“Daly is right,” one fan wrote. “That post was so gushy, it needed a vomit emoji.”

Shelton and Stefani have been married since 2020, and they are known for their public displays of affection. However, even by their standards, Shelton’s birthday post was over-the-top.
Daly’s reaction was a reminder that even the most loving couples can be too much for some people. But it’s also a reminder that love is a beautiful thing, and there’s nothing wrong with expressing it in a big way.
After all, as Shelton said in his post, Stefani is his “favorite all time person ever born in any time period in the history of mankind.” That’s a pretty big compliment, and it’s understandable that he would want to shout it from the rooftops.
