US Cowboy Travels To Israel To Help In An Incredible Way

Amid the ongoing Israel-Hamas conflict, a group of American cowboys has embarked on a mission of goodwill in Israel, assisting local farmers in harvesting their crops. Montana cowboy John Plocher, speaking on “Varney & Co.,” detailed the efforts made by his group to support the community and restore a sense of normalcy.

Plocher, along with three fellow Montanans and a cowboy from Arkansas, undertook the journey through a volunteer-based operation called HaYovel, rooted in evangelical Christian principles. Their primary focus has been providing support to farmers and Jewish communities in Judea and Samaria, bringing essential supplies to enhance security measures.

The group has been distributing items such as bulletproof vests, night vision goggles, and security drones to ensure the safety of local communities. In addition to supplying crucial equipment, the cowboys have been actively involved in tasks ranging from warehouse work to aiding on farms. Plocher highlighted the impact of the recent conflict, noting that many men had been called up for the draft, resulting in a labor shortage.

Stuart Varney, host of “Varney & Co.,” humorously remarked on the cowboys’ conspicuous presence in Israel. Plocher confirmed that they had attracted attention, with locals frequently stopping them to take pictures.

When asked about the techniques the cowboys were imparting to the Israelis, Plocher responded jovially, expressing that it was the Israelis who were teaching him. He emphasized the resilience of the Israeli people and conveyed his excitement about supporting and working with them.

In response to a question about the group’s religious affiliation, Plocher clarified that none of them were Jewish. Instead, he identified as a “Bible believer” and emphasized his faith as a driving force behind the mission. Plocher affirmed his belief in the Bible and the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, asserting that the land was given to the Jewish people by God, and they have a rightful claim to it.
