Two Women Use ‘Mother’s Intuition’ to Solve Baby’s Kidnapping Case – Watch

Is there anything more powerful than a mother’s intuition? It was powerful enough to track down a suspected kidnapper and rescue a 5-month-old child.

Two Indiana mothers worked together to solve a case of a missing Ohio baby last week using their mother’s intuition.

Kason and Kyair Thomas, 5-month-old twins, were taken while in their car seats on December 19. They were in the back of their mother’s vehicle as she left the car running to pick up a food order. When the mother turned around, the car was gone.

Columbus police issued an Amber Alert following the incident and reported that the suspected kidnapper was 24-year-old Nalah Jackson.

At about 4 a.m. the following day, Kyair was located abandoned outside in the cold at the Dayton International Airport. His twin brother, Kason, was still missing.

Shyann Delmar was scrolling through her Facebook page when she saw a mug shot of Jackson. She thought she recognized the suspect as a woman who she had purchased toys from on December 20.

Delmar said that the person selling the toys went by the name “Mae,” and the two had exchanged phone numbers. She believed that “Mae” was Jackson, so Delmar and her cousin, Mecka Curry, jumped into action to find the suspected kidnapper and rescue the missing baby.

They shared their plan of action on TikTok and said that the Indianapolis police did not believe them or take them seriously.

The mothers came up with a plan to get “Mae” into their vehicle, then coordinate with police to pull them over so the suspect could be detained without suspicion

When they got Mae in their car, ”The confirmation was just too crazy,” Curry said. “Now the police know what kind of car we in, the police know who we got in the car, the police know what to do, they know where our location is.”

The women then found a bus ticket in Mae’s vehicle and searched every bus stop until they found her vehicle. They were overcome with joy when they saw baby Kason inside the vehicle.

A Columbus police spokesperson confirmed to WEWS that Delmar and Curry were involved in Jackson’s arrest and Kason’s recovery. And the IMPD thanked the women for solving the case.

Well done, mothers!
