One of the big trends on social media these days is something called a “fit check.” It’s like asking somebody on the red carpet who they are wearing. But this is for regular folks to share about their everyday outfits.
You can imagine how many influencers there are out there who love to tell their followers about the cute outfit they are wearing.
What you don’t expect is for a cute old grandpa to engage in a “fit check” for social media followers. But that is exactly what Liam Ryan does and he is 86 years old.
Ryan made a guest appearance on his granddaughter’s Tik Tok and the 24-year-old Grace Pettit coaches him through the normal process.
What makes this video amazing are all the giggles that come from Pettit as her grandfather tries to make sure he hits all of his articles of clothing in the right way.
People are loving this interaction. The video starts with Ryan standing in front of the camera and he says, “Hi, I’m Gramps. We’re doing a fit check.”
He begins by talking about his jeans, “My jeans are a Christmas gift. My shirt is a Christmas gift. My sweater, my brother gave me. And my sneakers…”
This is where his granddaughter enters to help him. She holds him steady so he can fully show off his shoes. After he is done, Pettit does her fit check and the interaction between the two just warms the hearts of followers.
