Staffers Discuss Moments DOGE Entered Building

If there were ever a moment that perfectly encapsulated just how bloated, corrupt, and utterly unserious the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) had become, this would be it. As soon as DOGE (the Department of Government Efficiency) came knocking, USAID employees scrambled to hide the evidence—literally.

A USAID speechwriter, Kristina Drye, admitted to ABC News that the moment DOGE entered the building, employees tore down their Pride flags, hid books that might be “incriminating,” and panicked over their Google Meet transcripts being recorded.

Now, let’s pause for a second. If you’re working for a taxpayer-funded federal agency, and your first instinct when oversight arrives is to HIDE evidence… maybe, just maybe, that’s a sign you’re not doing anything worthwhile.

And let’s not forget what DOGE is actually doing here: It’s not a government agency. It’s an executive task force assigned by President Trump to investigate and dismantle wasteful spending. And Elon Musk, who has been instrumental in leading this effort, has made it clear—USAID isn’t just wasteful; it’s beyond repair.

By Saturday, DOGE had shut down all USAID websites. By Monday, USAID employees had completely lost access to their computers. And by next week, the agency itself may cease to exist.

This is not a bureaucratic “audit” where an agency gets a slap on the wrist and continues its business as usual. This is a full-scale dismantling.

And when you see where USAID money was going, it’s obvious why Trump and Musk are shutting it down.

The White House released a list on Monday outlining some of the worst USAID-funded projects—projects that had nothing to do with “international development” and everything to do with pushing radical ideological nonsense.

  • $1.5 million to “advance diversity, equity, and inclusion” in Serbian workplaces
  • $70,000 for a “DEI musical” in Ireland
  • $32,000 for a “transgender comic book” in Peru

Yes, while Americans are struggling with inflation and record debt, their tax dollars were being funneled into international DEI propaganda.

And USAID officials knew exactly how bad this looked—which is why their first instinct was to start erasing the evidence when DOGE showed up.

Let’s not forget: USAID was never supposed to be a giant globalist slush fund. When it was created, its mission was to promote humanitarian aid and development projects.

Instead, it became a money-laundering operation for the global elite, funding pointless DEI initiatives, shady NGOs, and foreign governments with zero oversight.

And now, for the first time ever, someone in Washington is actually pulling the plug.

Trump and Musk aren’t just cutting waste—they’re taking a wrecking ball to the entire corrupt system.

And judging by how quickly USAID employees panicked and started shredding evidence, it’s pretty clear they knew the party was over.
