Nick Cannon just welcomed his 12 children into the world, a daughter whose mother is Alyssa Scott. Halo Marie was born on December 14, according to an announcement by Cannon and Scott made this week.
The couple showed a video of Scott giving birth and calling her mother to say, “It’s a girl.”
The couple’s first child, a boy named Zen, died of brain cancer at five months in December of 2021.
This is the message that came with the announcement of Halo, “Our lives are forever changed. ❤️Zen is in every breath I take. I know his spirit was with us in the room that morning. I know he is watching down on us, he shows me signs every day. I will hold onto this memory forever. I will remember the sound of Nicks voice saying ‘it’s a girl’ and the look of everything we’ve been through flash across his face. I will remember the sound of her crying out with her first breath and feeling her heartbeat against mine. My sweet girl, I got my surprise!! We love you Halo Marie Cannon!”
Scott also talked about how she is doing physically, mentally, and spiritually. She said her body is on the mend and that she couldn’t believe it had been a year since the toughest day of her life. She said that losing a child has to be the “heaviest, most dark and depressive experiences that I will never get over. A mixture of guilt, pain, and sorrow is what I suppress daily.”
Scott is also the mother to Zeela, 4, from a previous relationship. She is an Instagram model who probably met Cannon on the set of his show “Wild N Out” in 2019.
Cannon and model Abby De La Rosa welcomed their daughter, Beautiful Zeppelin, just six weeks ago. He and Lanisha Cole, a former Price is Right model, had a daughter, Onyx Ice Cole, three months ago.
Nick is the father of twins Zion and Zillion with De La Rosa, and a five-month-old son, Legendary Love with model Bre Tiesi. And he has sons Rise Messiah, 10 weeks, and Golden Sagon, 5, with model Brittany Bell.
Cannon and Bell also have a daughter, Powerful Queen, who is almost two. There are also 11-year-old twins Monroe and Moroccan with ex-wife Mariah Carey.
