Lisa Marie Presley’s Cause of Death Revealed

The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner has released the autopsy report for Lisa Marie Presley, who died on January 12, 2023, at the age of 54. The report concluded that Presley died of a “sequelae of small bowel obstruction,” which is a complication of a small bowel obstruction.

A small bowel obstruction occurs when the small intestine is blocked, which can prevent food and fluids from passing through. This can be caused by a number of factors, including adhesions, scar tissue that can form after surgery, tumors, and hernias.

Lisa Marie, the only daughter of the late King of Rock’n’Roll Elvis Presley and his wife Priscilla Presley, was pronounced dead in January after suffering a cardiac arrest in her Calabasas home. Paramedics were reportedly able to get a pulse after performing CPR on the scene, but she later died at the hospital.

“It is with a heavy heart that I must share the devastating news that my beautiful daughter Lisa Marie has left us,” Priscilla Presley said at the time. “She was the most passionate, strong and loving woman I have ever known.”

The family also released a statement on her death, saying, “Priscilla Presley and the Presley family are shocked and devastated by the tragic death of their beloved Lisa Marie. They are profoundly grateful for the support, love and prayers of everyone, and ask for privacy during this very difficult time.”

The report concluded that Presley’s death was a natural death. There was no evidence of foul play or drug overdose.

Presley’s death was a shock to her fans and family. She was the only child of Elvis Presley and Priscilla Presley, and she had a successful career as a singer and songwriter. She was also the mother of four children.

Since Presley’s death, her family has been plagued by drama. Her daughter Riley Keough and her mother battled over her estate, resulting in a payout from the estate to Priscilla Presley that was reported to be in the millions.
