Joe Rogan’s Reaction to the UFC Knockout is Going Viral – Watch

Joe Rogan has one of the most watched podcasts on the market. He’s not shy about hitting the controversial subjects that people are interested in. The public loves to see him take jabs and then render a huge sucker punch.
But this week, Rogan is getting notoriety for someone else’s punch. The world is watching his reaction to the massive UFC knockout Saturday night. His reaction went viral after the podcaster showed pure shock after the monster upset win by fighter Leon Edwards.
It was the main event matchup for the welterweight title. The fight was between champion Kamaru Usman and Leon Edwards.
Usman was projected to be the clear winner. He had won 15 consecutive matches before the Saturday night fight. Everyone assumed that this match with be his 16th win in a row.
And Usman took an early lead in the match. He won three of the first four rounds. But then came the 5th and final round.
Edwards started a shocking comeback, eventually as the momentum went his way, he kicked Usman’s head and knocked him out. He won the match and ended Usman’s streak.
As exciting as the upset was, Rogan’s reaction to it is what is going viral. Commentating on the fight, Rogan began screaming, “Oh my goodness! Oh my goodness! Oh my goodness!” while in complete shock, grabbing both of his co-broadcasters.
“We were writing [Edwards’] obituary,” fellow broadcaster Daniel Cormier said.
Edwards hails from Jamaica but his fighting is based in England. He said that the win is “more for the people that grew up where I grew up,” according to ESPN. “I know it. I felt it. I felt the pressure. I felt the doubt. I felt people saying it couldn’t be done. I was born with nothing.”
