In a snippet of the song shared on Lopez’s newsletter, “On the JLo,” she sings about how she and Affleck “took a midnight trip to Vegas” and “got hitched” in a “little white chapel.” She also sings about how they are “meant to be” and that they are “the luckiest people alive.”
In the 19-second clip, Lopez sings along to the song before making a “shhh” hand motion.
The song is a clear ode to Lopez and Affleck’s rekindled romance. The couple first dated in the early 2000s and were engaged to be married in 2003. However, they called off their wedding just days before the ceremony was supposed to take place.

They reunited in 2021 and got married in Las Vegas in 2022. The couple has been very open about their love for each other in interviews and on social media.
The release of “Midnight Trip to Vegas” is a further confirmation of Lopez and Affleck’s happiness together. The song is a sweet and romantic ballad that is sure to please fans of the couple.
