Jason Aldean Dangerous Departure from Stage – Watch

Country music star Jason Aldean was forced to cut his concert short on Saturday night after suffering heat stroke.

Aldean was performing at the Xfinity Theatre in Hartford, Connecticut, when he began to exhibit signs of heat exhaustion. He was seen struggling to sing and appeared to be sweating profusely.

After a few minutes, Aldean ran off stage and was taken to a local hospital. He was later released and is said to be doing well.

“Yesterday’s Jason Aldean show will be rescheduled for a future date,” the venue said in a statement. “We appreciate your patience as we work on rescheduling a new date, as well as the outpouring of well wishes for Jason. A rep has confirmed he is now doing well after experiencing heat stroke during last night’s performance.”

“Please stay tuned to all social media channels for updates as they become available,” the venue added.

“I’m doing fine,” he said. “Just one of those things man. It was hot. I was playing golf all day yesterday and then got to the show. And just, I think it was a combination of dehydration and just heat exhaustion. So here a lot of stuff going around heat stroke, all this stuff. I don’t think it was quite that serious. But it was, it was it was pretty intense last night at the show.”

“Anybody that was at the show knows how hot it was,” he continued. “And I don’t know, something just kind of, I knew it was coming. I was trying to get through as much of the show as I could. And eventually it was just like, I knew it wasn’t going to happen. And I was trying to just get off stage to figure out what’s going on.”

Heat stroke is a serious medical condition that can be fatal if not treated promptly. Symptoms include a high fever, confusion, nausea, and seizures.

The Xfinity Theatre said in a statement that the temperature at the concert was 89 degrees Fahrenheit. Aldean was performing in full costume, which likely contributed to his heat exhaustion.

Aldean’s manager, Kurt Fearnley, said that the singer was “doing fine” and that he was “just dehydrated and overheated.”

The concert was later rescheduled for July 29th.
