Indian TV Star, 35, Dies Of Heart Attack

Prominent Indian TV actress Dr. Priya, known for her work in the Indian entertainment industry, tragically passed away at the young age of 35 due to a sudden heart attack. She was eight months pregnant at the time of her untimely death. The incident occurred during a routine checkup at a hospital on October 31, where she suffered a cardiac arrest. While Dr. Priya did not survive, doctors managed to save her newborn baby, who is currently receiving care in the ICU.

Dr. Priya, a doctor by profession, was a well-loved figure in India’s television industry. She was known for her work as an actress and also worked at the PRS hospital in Thiruvananthapuram, located in the southern state of Kerala. In the months leading up to her passing, she had taken a break from her career to spend more time with her family during her pregnancy.

Her tragic demise marks the third unexpected death within the Indian TV industry in recent times. Just a day before Dr. Priya’s passing, Indian TV star Renjusha Menon, also 35 years old, tragically took her own life in the flat she shared with her husband, fellow actor Manoj. Renjusha Menon was known for her supporting roles in various TV shows and movies, including notable films like ‘City of God,’ ‘Marykkundoru Kunjaadu,’ ‘Bombay March,’ and ‘Karyasthan.’ Reports indicate that she was facing severe financial difficulties at the time of her death.

In a separate incident in September, actor Aparna Nair, aged 33, also tragically ended her life in her flat, leaving behind her husband and two children. These consecutive losses have raised concerns within the Indian TV industry and among the public, shedding light on the challenges faced by individuals working in the entertainment sector.

These unfortunate events have brought attention to the mental health and well-being of individuals in the Indian entertainment industry and serve as a reminder of the need for support systems and resources to address the pressures and difficulties faced by those working in the field.
