Former White House Officials Accused of Misconduct

Dr. Kevin O’Connor, former President Joe Biden’s chief medical advisor, is under scrutiny following explosive allegations of sexual misconduct and unprofessional behavior during his time in the White House, leveled by Representative Ronny Jackson (R-TX), who served as the White House physician under President Donald Trump.

The accusations come amid growing concerns about Dr. O’Connor’s role in overseeing Biden’s health, particularly following what critics have called a vague and insufficient medical evaluation released after Biden’s 2024 annual exam.

Allegations have intensified over what some describe as O’Connor’s failure to adequately address or publicly acknowledge signs of the president’s physical and cognitive decline.

In a detailed interview, Jackson accused O’Connor of routinely engaging in inappropriate conduct while working alongside him during the Obama administration. According to Jackson, O’Connor often played juvenile and sexually inappropriate pranks on fellow staff, including taking coworkers’ phones and rubbing them against his groin before handing them back—behavior Jackson described as “something you would see a 12-year-old boy do.”

“He thought that was absolutely hilarious,” Jackson said. “Most people were just astonished — they were just kind of like, ‘What’s going on here?’”

Jackson also alleged that O’Connor made crude sexual remarks that offended several female colleagues, though he did not provide names or specific incidents. He claimed efforts to remove O’Connor from his role were quietly discouraged due to political pressure from senior leadership, specifically the close relationship between O’Connor, then-Vice President Biden, and President Barack Obama.

“Because If I had gotten rid of him,” Jackson recounted, “it was made very clear to me that I would be immediately getting a phone call from President Obama telling me, ‘What are you doing? Joe Biden’s upset. You need to hire this guy back or you need to stop this. You can’t get rid of this guy.’”

Dr. O’Connor’s long-standing personal and professional relationship with Biden has also raised questions of impartiality. Critics argue that his proximity to the president may compromise the transparency expected of White House physicians. O’Connor served as Biden’s personal doctor before his presidency and continued in that role during his administration, building a tight bond that some say undermines medical objectivity.

Concerns about O’Connor’s credibility resurfaced after reports emerged that his past ventures—particularly a rural hospital investment effort linked with James Biden—fell under SEC investigation and collapsed amid fraud allegations.
