Disney Guest Turning Theme Park Into San Fran, Do The Unthinkable

Reports have emerged of increasingly long wait times at Disney theme park attractions, leading to a concerning trend where some visitors resort to defecating in line. This issue has garnered attention as it appears to have persisted for approximately a decade at both Disneyland and Disney World.

Witness accounts and social media posts have shed light on this problem, with parkgoers sharing their experiences of witnessing unsanitary incidents during extended wait times. In particular, queues for popular rides, such as “Rise of the Resistance,” have been described as stretching to over an hour and a half. These prolonged waits appear to have driven some visitors to take extreme measures.

One visitor recounted an incident at Disney World, where a child reportedly defecated on the floor in the queue, and their family left the mess unattended. Other Reddit users supported this claim and expressed that such incidents are not isolated occurrences. Some individuals mentioned specific areas within the parks where these incidents have become more frequent, with one user referencing a “poop hall.”

Interestingly, reports of public defecation are not entirely new to Disney parks. Two former Disney workers penned a book, “Cleaning the Kingdom: Insider Tales of Keeping Walt’s Dream Spotless,” detailing their experiences as custodial team members at Disney theme parks during the 1990s and early 2000s. In the book, they revealed that there were protocols in place for handling human waste, which were referred to as “Human Code H.” These protocols were initially devised for addressing horse excrement from the horses pulling vehicles along Main Street but eventually extended to human waste.

The growing concern surrounding this issue highlights questions about the park’s crowd management and infrastructure, particularly with the backdrop of increased ticket prices at both Disney World and Disneyland. These elevated prices have contributed to the financial challenges facing the Disney company.

It’s important to note that Disney theme parks have policies that allow visitors to temporarily exit the line to use the restroom, with a Disney employee holding their place. Nevertheless, the reported incidents indicate that some visitors may either be unaware of this policy or choose not to avail themselves of it, leading to unfortunate occurrences during prolonged waits.
