Channing Tatum Shares Culinary Secret with Hoda Kotb and Jenna Bush Hager – VIDEO

In a recent interview with Hoda Kotb and Jenna Bush Hager, Channing Tatum revealed that his go-to sandwich is a peanut butter and jelly sandwich with Cheetos. The revelation shocked and intrigued the hosts, who decided to give the sandwich a try.

The hosts made the sandwich according to Tatum’s instructions, using white bread, grape jelly, creamy peanut butter, and Cheetos. They were initially hesitant to try the sandwich, but they were pleasantly surprised by the results.

The sandwich was surprisingly good. The Cheetos added a salty, crunchy element that complemented the sweetness of the jelly and peanut butter. The hosts agreed that the sandwich was a fun and unexpected twist on a classic childhood favorite.

“When I was a kid I loved peanut butter and jelly and just Cheetos (on it),” Tatum said.

“Wow, that’s a lot of Cheetos, though,” Tatum said. “Usually there wouldn’t be this many Cheetos, and more jam.”

Jenna was just fine with it.

“If somebody says they don’t like a Cheeto, they’re lying,” she said.

Hoda appreciated the nod to childhood.

“Oh my God, it’s on white bread, just like old school,” she said.

Hoda and Jenna enjoyed the unorthodox pairing of an iconic snack with an iconic sandwich.

“That’s really good,” Hoda said.

Tatum also shared in the AMA that he’s “not a very adventurous eater” and just likes pepperoni on his pizza and cookie dough ice cream for dessert.

Here is a recipe for Channing Tatum’s PB&J with Cheetos sandwich:

Ingredients:

  • 2 slices of white bread
  • 1 tablespoon of grape jelly
  • 1 tablespoon of creamy peanut butter
  • A handful of Cheetos

Instructions:

  1. Spread the peanut butter on one slice of bread.
  2. Spread the jelly on the other slice of bread.
  3. Sprinkle the Cheetos on top of the jelly.
  4. Put the two slices of bread together.
  5. Cut the sandwich in half and enjoy!
