Caitlin Clark Invited To WWE Event

Today, we’ve got an exciting crossover brewing between the WNBA and WWE that has fans buzzing with anticipation. Indiana Fever guard Caitlin Clark, arguably the face of the WNBA and one of its most competitive players, has received a unique invitation from WWE superstar Bianca Belair. Belair has personally invited Clark to compete in the 30-woman Royal Rumble, set to take place next year in Indianapolis at Lucas Oil Stadium, just a stone’s throw from Bainbridge Fieldhouse.

Caitlin Clark, the No. 1 overall pick in the WNBA draft, has already shattered numerous league records and drawn record-breaking crowds wherever she plays. Her popularity is skyrocketing, making her a perfect candidate for this unexpected crossover into the wrestling world.

In an interview with ComicBook Nation’s Matt Aguilar, Belair expressed her admiration for the rising spotlight on women’s sports and her desire to see Clark join the Royal Rumble. “I love what’s happening with the WNBA,” Belair said. “I love that women are getting more spotlight and more attention. The WNBA is doing that. WWE, we’ve done a lot of unprecedented things where it comes to women. Whether it’s women main eventing WrestleMania, main eventing on a weekly basis on Raw, SmackDown, or PLEs.”

Belair continued, “It would be really cool for the two worlds to combine and have an even bigger impact for women. Caitlin Clark, if you’re watching, come on and join. Come in the Royal Rumble. You can be one of the 30 participants. That’s what’s exciting about the Royal Rumble. You never know what’s going to happen. It could be the past, present, future, or just someone you don’t expect. You might see Caitlin Clark in the 2025 Royal Rumble in Indianapolis.”

This invitation has sparked strong reactions from fans. Some are thrilled at the prospect of seeing Clark step into the wrestling ring, viewing it as a fantastic opportunity to further elevate women’s sports. “This would be amazing! Two powerful worlds colliding!” one fan commented.

Others, however, are skeptical about the fit and whether Clark should venture into professional wrestling. “Stick to basketball, Caitlin. Wrestling is a whole different game,” another fan remarked.
