Al Pacino, the legendary actor known for his roles in films like “The Godfather” and “Scarface,” is expecting a baby with his girlfriend, Noor Alfallah. Alfallah is 29 years old, making her 54 years younger than Pacino.
The couple has been dating for about a year, and they have been keeping their relationship relatively private. However, they were recently spotted out and about in Los Angeles, and it was clear that Alfallah was pregnant.
“Having children has helped a lot. I consciously knew that I didn’t want to be like my dad. I wanted to be there. I have three children. I’m responsible to them. I’m a part of their life,” Pancino said, adding that when he’s not around them it’s “upsetting to me and to them.”
“So that’s part of the gestalt And I get a lot from it. It takes you out of yourself,” he added.
Pacino has three adult children from previous relationships: Julie Marie, 33, from his relationship with acting coach Jan Tarrant; and twins Anton and Olivia, 20, from his relationship with actress Beverly D’Angelo.
This will be Alfallah’s first child.
It is unclear when the baby is due, but Pacino and Alfallah are reportedly very excited about the news.
Pacino is one of the most celebrated actors of his generation, and he has won numerous awards for his work, including an Academy Award for Best Actor for his role in “Scent of a Woman.”
Alfallah is a producer and filmmaker, and she has worked on projects such as the documentary “The Square” and the film “Billionaire Boys Club.”
Pacino’s baby news comes the same month that his longtime friend and former co-star Robert De Niro also welcomed another child. “I just had a baby,” the “Taxi Driver” star said, without revealing more information. A rep for De Niro later confirmed the details to TODAY.com on May 9.
