Affleck Staying With Garner Due To Fire

Ben Affleck has joined the growing list of high-profile Los Angeles residents forced to flee their homes as devastating wildfires continue to sweep through the region. The actor evacuated his $20 million Pacific Palisades mansion amid the chaos, reportedly seeking refuge at the nearby home of his ex-wife, Jennifer Garner.

The fires have disrupted life across Los Angeles, with thousands evacuated from their homes, including celebrities abandoning their lavish properties to escape the apocalyptic conditions. While it’s unclear if Affleck’s visit to Garner’s home is temporary or long-term, the decision underscores the pair’s enduring connection, especially as co-parents to their three children—Violet, 19; Fin, 15; and Samuel, 12.

Affleck, 52, purchased his mansion last summer following his split from Jennifer Lopez. Their $68 million Beverly Hills estate, which they shared during their marriage, remains on the market, adding another layer of transition to the actor’s already eventful year.

Garner, also 52, appears to be a steady presence in Affleck’s life, offering support during challenging times. The former couple even celebrated Christmas together with their children, leading to speculation about the depth of their ongoing relationship.

Sources close to Affleck claim he has lingering feelings for Garner, describing her as someone he “never really got over.” The insider explained, “Jen gets him like no one else. She’s the mother of his kids, and she’ll always hold a special place in his heart. He’ll never stop regretting letting her go.”

Garner, however, has been in a long-term relationship with businessman John Miller since 2018. Reports suggest that Miller has grown increasingly frustrated with the dynamic between Garner and Affleck.

“John’s fine with them co-parenting,” one source said, “but he’s tired of standing back while she tries to fix all of Ben’s problems.” Some speculate that the strain may jeopardize Garner’s current relationship, though others point out her focus remains on her children and maintaining stability.

Meanwhile, Lopez has moved on from her brief marriage to Affleck, but not without complications of her own. Sources revealed that she found their Beverly Hills home to be a painful reminder of the relationship, reportedly calling the house a “noose around her neck” due to the memories it holds.

The property, with its sports lounge, basketball and pickleball courts, and family-centric kitchen, reportedly serves as an unwelcome echo of Affleck’s past life.
