The latest monolith appeared on Morning Fresh Dairy Farm in Bellvue, Colorado. Lori Graves, the farm’s owner, told local station KDVR that she has no idea how the 8-foot tall, 4-foot wide, and 8-inch deep structure ended up on her property. Graves shared her thoughts, saying, “I have ideas, but I almost don’t want to ruin the mystery around it. I’m not going to ask people.”
The monolith has generated quite a buzz online and among visitors to the dairy farm. People have been flocking to see what some are calling the “alien monolith,” with theories ranging from extraterrestrial origins to pranks by a neighbor with a penchant for aliens and conspiracies.
This mysterious monolith is just the latest in a series of similar structures that have appeared worldwide. Just last week, the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department reported spotting a reflective monolith near Gass Peak.
The police shared an image of the monolith on social media, noting that their search and rescue unit encountered it during a routine operation. “We see a lot of weird things when people go hiking, like not being prepared for the weather, not bringing enough water… but check this out!” they wrote on X.
Officials have compared the structures found in Las Vegas and Colorado to a similar monolith discovered in Utah a few years ago. The Utah monolith, standing between 10 and 12 feet high, was found by state and wildlife employees herding sheep from a helicopter in November 2020.
The Utah Department of Public Safety reported that the object was installed in a remote area with “no obvious indication” of who placed it there.
But the mystery doesn’t end there. Similar monoliths have also been reported in Belgium, Romania, and the Isle of Wight in the English Channel. A New Mexico artist collective claimed responsibility for some of these structures, adding another layer of intrigue to the phenomenon.
